Our client, a leader in the chemical manufacturing industry, is seeking a Customer Service & Supply Chain Coordinator to support their busy operations team in Teesside.
In this full-time, fixed-term role, you will manage sales order processing, coordinate global logistics, and handle import/export documentation to ensure the seamless delivery of products to blue-chip petrochemical and speciality chemical clients.
Key responsibilities as Customer Service & Supply Chain Coordinator:
Receiving and processing customer sales orders, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries
Coordinating logistics and negotiating competitive freight solutions with approved hauliers
Preparing and managing import/export documentation, liaising with customs brokers
Monitoring stock levels and collaborating with suppliers to meet production schedules
Preparing month-end reports and supporting the accounts team with credit queries Customer Service & Supply Chain Coordinator requirements:
Previous experience in a customer service or supply chain role within chemical manufacturing
Knowledge of international logistics, including Deep Sea, Short Sea, and EU freight
Strong understanding of import/export procedures and compliance regulations
Excellent IT skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems
