Job Description
Main roles and responsibilities of the Finance Assistant:
3. Timely and accurate data entry into accounting software and other systems
4. Raising sales invoices and credit notes
5. Statement reconciliations
6. Credit control
7. Bank reconciliations
8. Raising purchase orders
9. Processing supplier invoices
10. Checking and processing staff expenses and Company Credit Cards
11. Checking and matching delivery notes with orders
12. Checking customer purchase orders match our orders
13. Checking Accruals, Prepayments and Deferred Revenue each month
14. Sending remittance advice
15. Help prepare monthly sales commissions.
16. Help prepare monthly management accounts.
17. General finance administration
The Successful Applicant
A successful Finance Assistant should have:
18. A solid foundation in accounting and finance principles
19. Accountancy qualification AAT/ACCA/CIMA or working towards one
20. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
21. Strong numerical and analytical skills
22. Excellent attention to detail
