Job Title: Quantity Surveyor
Base Location: Fareham or Slinfold
Salary: From £38,212 - £58,945 depending on skills and experience and working hours - Car Allowance, plus a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.
Working Pattern: Permanent, Full Time (37 Hours)

Could you be our next Quantity Surveyor to join the team and drive this success forwards?
What will I be doing in this role?
Were looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our Highways Electrical team in the South. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key part in the commercial management a large scale LED upgrade scheme.
In a typical day, you could expect to be;
Prepare, manage, and monitor project budgets and forecasts
Support tendering processes, subcontractor procurement, and contract negotiation
Administer contracts in line with NEC frameworks
Identify, assess, and manage commercial risks and opportunities
Prepare valuations, applications for payment, and final accounts
Provide clear, accurate financial reports and updates to internal and external stakeholders
Work collaboratively with operational teams to deliver projects safely, efficiently, and profitably
What do I need to be successful in the role?
Experience in a Quantity Surveyor or similar commercial role, ideally within the highways, utilities, or electrical contracting sectors
Working knowledge of NEC contracts and commercial management best practice
Excellent numerical, analytical, and communication skills
A proactive approach to problem-solving and collaboration
Degree-level qualification (or equivalent experience) in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related discipline
A full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel within the South region
