Assistant Deputy Manager/Unit Lead Role
As an Assistant Deputy Manager/Unit Lead, you will be part of the management team alongside the Home Manager and Deputy Manager at Wood Care Group. The role primarily involves providing care support with designated management responsibilities.
We seek someone who is hands-on with care and can lead shifts effectively, supporting both day and night shifts through active involvement in handovers.
You will care for residents as if they are your own family, addressing their physical, psychological, and social needs. Responsibilities include assisting with personal care, supporting management tasks such as supervision, observations, rota planning, medication audits, and end-of-month medication reviews.
This position is ideal for a senior care worker aspiring to progress to Deputy Manager within a company that values internal development and staff growth.

* Attend staff meetings.
* Maintain personal and professional development through training and support staff development.
* Understand safeguarding responsibilities, promote adults' safety, and adhere to safeguarding and whistleblowing policies.

* Follow fire procedures and health and safety legislation.
* Complete required training as determined by the home.
