The Role
As a CNC Turner, you will be responsible for programming, setting and operating Mazak CNC lathes to produce high‑precision components to strict aerospace standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Programming, setting and operating Mazak CNC lathes (Mazatrol controls)
* Manufacturing complex components from engineering drawings
* Working to tight tolerances within an aerospace environment
* Conducting in‑process inspection using precision measuring equipment
* Ensuring compliance with AS9100 and quality standards
* Collaborating with engineering and quality teams to improve efficiency
Requirements
* Proven experience as a CNC Turner within a precision engineering environment
* Strong knowledge of Mazak machinery and Mazatrol programming
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
* Experience working to tight tolerances and high‑quality standards
* Background in aerospace or similar regulated industry (desirable)
* Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving mindset
