You will use outbound sales and business development techniques to develop and close new business opportunities. Utilise networking opportunities and events to proactively develop your pipeline. Identify opportunities for specialists to develop whilst you own the customer relationship and sales cycle. You will identify a full range of opportunities across the SCG product/service portfolio (land and expand), to include Hosted IP Telephony, Data Connectivity, Cyber Security, Business Mobile, Private Cloud, Network Security and Managed IT Services. Responsibilities: Working closely with the prospective customer to understand the underlying requirement,decisioncriteriaand the mostappropriate solutionfrom the range of SCG products and services. Pro-activelyself-generate sales opportunities through outbound sales/marketing activity,salesstrategiesand entrepreneurial initiative. Accurately record andmaintainrecords of all sales activity. Work to achieve, and exceed,yourmonthly target and contribute towards team/business unittarget. Primarily target the acquisition of new customers (New Logo)and the cross sell/upsell opportunities intoexisting relationships. Nurture close working relationships with all customers Be able to professionally articulate the financial,operationaland technicalbenefitsof eachsale, negotiate contractawards. Provide detailed analysis of the reasons for each contract award and/or loss to feed backto the Sales Director andourContinual ImprovementPlan. Working in conjunction with other teams across the business.
