A leading UK law firm is seeking a Senior Associate (5+ PQE) to join its Employment Team in Nottingham. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious employment lawyer looking to take the next step in their career within a high-performing, collaborative and growing national practice.
The Team
The Employment Team is a highly regarded national practice comprising more than 40 specialist employment lawyers across the UK. The team is consistently ranked in leading legal directories, with multiple teams recognised in the top tier of Legal 500 and highly ranked by Chambers & Partners.
The practice advises a wide range of clients, from PLCs and national businesses to fast-growing SMEs, as well as senior executives and professionals. The team has built a reputation for delivering commercial, pragmatic and responsive employment law advice and works closely with senior management teams and boards on complex and strategic employment matters.
The Role
Due to continued growth, the Nottingham office is looking to appoint a Senior Associate to play a key role in the development of the team.
This position will involve:
• Managing a broad and high-quality employment caseload
• Advising clients on matters including disciplinary and grievance processes, unfair dismissal, discrimination, TUPE, whistleblowing, redundancies and restructures
• Providing strategic employment advice to senior management teams and HR leaders
• Working closely with corporate clients and developing strong client relationships
• Contributing to business development initiatives and team growth
• Playing an active role in the continued expansion of the Nottingham employment practice

• 5+ PQE in Employment Law
• Strong technical employment law expertise
• Experience managing complex employment matters
• Commercially minded with strong client relationship skills
