Role Overview
To manage Rebuild with Hope’s Community Programmes, supporting people from the wider community to develop the skills, confidence and opportunities needed to progress towards training, volunteering and sustainable employment.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the day-to-day management and development of Rebuild with Hope’s community programmes.
* Ensure community programme sessions are well planned, coordinated, delivered and reviewed.
* Oversee programme activity across multiple funding streams, ensuring outcomes, outputs and evidence are accurately tracked against funder requirements.
* Manage, support and coordinate community programme staff, tutors, the Volunteer Lead and relevant external delivery partners.
* Ensure staff and partners understand their delivery responsibilities, reporting requirements, safeguarding duties and expected standards.
* Support the development of participant progression pathways, including volunteering, training, qualifications, work experience, employment and wider community engagement.
* Ensure participants receive appropriate, person-centred support based on their needs, goals and barriers.
* Oversee referral routes into community programmes, including self-referrals, partner referrals, internal referrals, walk‑ins and online enquiries.
* Work with the Community Engagement Lead and wider team to ensure the community programme offer is actively promoted and accessible.
* Build and maintain relationships with community organisations, local authority teams, Jobcentre Plus, volunteer centres, housing/support organisations and other referral partners.
* Represent Rebuild with Hope professionally in relevant meetings, partnership discussions and community forums.
* Prepare reports and updates for funders, senior leaders and other stakeholders as required.
* Ensure accurate records are maintained using Rebuild with Hope’s systems, including Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, MS Lists and other relevant tools.
* Monitor programme quality, participant engagement and progress against agreed targets, identifying risks or gaps early.
* Ensure safeguarding, confidentiality, risk management and escalation procedures are followed across community programme delivery.
* Promote a safe, inclusive and respectful environment for participants, volunteers, staff, partners and visitors.
Knowledge & Skills
* Able to plan, organise and prioritise a varied workload.
* Able to manage, support and coordinate staff, tutors, volunteers and delivery partners.
* Strong understanding of community-based support, employability programmes and progression pathways.
* Good understanding of the barriers people may face when accessing training, volunteering or employment.
* Able to build positive relationships with participants, staff, funders, referral partners and external organisations.
* Confident communicating with a wide range of people from different backgrounds.
* Able to monitor programme outputs, outcomes and evidence against funder requirements.
* Able to produce clear written reports and updates for funders, managers and stakeholders.
* Good IT skills, including use of Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, Outlook and Excel.
* Good understanding of safeguarding, confidentiality, professional boundaries and risk escalation.
* Able to work independently, use initiative and identify solutions to problems.
Experience & Personal Attributes
* Experience of managing or coordinating programmes, projects, services or community-based provision.
* Experience of supporting people facing barriers to employment, training, volunteering, confidence, wellbeing or social inclusion.
* Experience of working with community organisations, referral partners, funders or local support services.
* Experience of managing, supporting or coordinating staff, tutors, volunteers or external delivery partners.
* Experience of tracking outcomes, maintaining records and contributing to reports.
* Experience of working in a charity, social enterprise, employability, adult learning, volunteering or community support setting would be beneficial.
* Empathetic, patient and able to build positive relationships with people from a wide range of backgrounds.
* Confident, organised and able to take ownership of a programme area.
* Flexible and able to adapt to the changing needs of the organisation and the people we support.
* Professional, approachable and able to maintain clear boundaries.

* Full UK Driving
