Veterinary Surgeon Isle Small Animal Veterinary Centre Up to £60,000 depending on experience Accommodation can be provided if required alternatively a relocation allowance of up to £5,000 is available An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our team here at Isle Vets, Ely on a permanent basis In this role, you will enjoy a perfect balance between consulting and operating on a variety of routine and urgent cases, ensuring a dynamic and engaging working day. This includes dentals, orthopedics, thyroidectomies, scans, brand new DR xray machine, varying soft tissue surgeries, endoscope, state of the art lab with huge numbers of tests run in house. We also work exclusively with cats protection Ely and Downham Market which provides a different side to veterinary care within the charity sector with a huge range of cases. We have a purpose-built building in the lovely rural area of Ely, Cambridgeshire, with a large range of veterinary equipment such as a brand-new x-ray, ultrasound, endoscope and dental x-ray. We have an experienced and supportive team who work together to create a positive working environment. Our team is the best thing about us, we really are like a family Meet like-minded professionals We have a 6-vet team, all general practitioners with their own areas of interest with enhanced knowledge within these areas, including diagnostic imaging cert, a visiting orthopedic surgeon & ECC Nurse, with more studying towards their certificate. The vets enjoy discussing cases of interest amongst themselves and use each other's knowledge to enhance patient care. There is a visiting orthopaedic specialist who visits regularly, that our vets have the opportunity to be involved with. We have a 8 nurse team, again they have areas of interest, with nurses specialising in wound care, ISFM certificate and Emergency and Critical care. We do a lot of work with local charities including WGAS, RSPCA and particularly with cats protection, whom we work extremely close with.
