We are seeking a highly capable and experienced Solicitor or CILEx qualified lawyer to join a Private Client team in Sheffield. The ideal candidate will have approximately five years' post-qualification experience and a strong background in probate and inheritance tax matters.
This role offers the opportunity to work on a varied and intellectually stimulating caseload, providing expert advice to individuals and families on:
* Probate and estate administration
* Inheritance tax planning and mitigation
* Complex estate structures and tax-efficient strategies
* Wills, trusts, and succession planning
Key Responsibilities:
* Advising clients on all aspects of probate and inheritance tax
* Managing estate administration from initial instruction through to final distribution
* Providing strategic tax planning advice tailored to individual client circumstances
* Drafting wills, trust documentation, and related instruments
* Liaising with HMRC and other relevant bodies
* Maintaining high standards of client care and professional conduct
Candidate Requirements:
* Solicitor or CILEx qualified lawyer with circa 5 years' PQE
* Demonstrable experience in probate, inheritance tax, and estate planning
* Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to manage a busy caseload independently
* Based within a commutable distance of Sheffield
