Reporting to the Contracts Manager the candidate will be responsible for undertaking electrical inspection and testing on both new and existing installations as well as other various electrical tasks for minor works projects and planned maintenance tasks as required. Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner during client meetings and site visits. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current IET Wiring Regulations and identify non-compliant fixed wiring installations. Execute tasks in accordance with agreed project timelines to ensure timely practical completion. Perform a variety of electrical tasks including electrical condition reporting, minor works & new installation testing & inspection, fault finding, minor installation works and defect repairs etc. Accurately complete and submit all required documentation and inspection/testing certificates in a timely manner, in either hard copy or digital format. Work closely with electrical engineers to develop cost-effective and technically sound solutions that meet client requirements. Use initiative to resolve technical issues related to defect repairs, including sourcing materials and liaising with manufacturers for technical support. Adhere to the highest standards of health and safety, including conducting point-of-work risk assessments for all tasks. About You Essential Criteria: C&G Level 3 2357 or equivalent, having completed a relevant apprenticeship within your trade. AM2. City and Guilds ) Level 3 qualification. Have a minimum of 2 years experience as an electrical testing engineer (Condition reporting). IET Wiring Regulations BS 7678 18th Edition inc. Amd. 2 Extensive knowledge of IET Wiring Regulations. Highly experienced in Electrical installation works for commercial and industrial installations. Full UK Drivers Licence. Normal eyesight colour vision. Strong administration skills, ensuring condition reports and job sheets are accurately completed and submitted on time. Desirable Criteria: City and Guilds Electrical Equipment Maintenance and Testing (2377). Registered CSCS/CSR Card or equivalent skill card. Experience in planned & reactive maintenance. High Voltage awareness training. Confined space training. IPAF card holder.
