The Air Ambulance Service provides two very important functions, Helicopter Emergency Medical Services (HEMS) and The Children’s Air Ambulance (TCAA) which provides paediatric transfers across the UK. Job Title: Community Fundraising Assistant (TCAA) Location: Homebased - covering the north of the country. Please note that this role covers from Cheshire, Manchester and Yorkshire upto Cumbria, Northumberland and Newcastle and some travel will be required. Therefore, a full driving licence will be required. Full Time: 37.5 hours Annual Salary: £24,570 Interview Date: 29th May 2025 (over MS Teams) Job Purpose The role of Fundraising Assistant for the Children’s Air Ambulance will be working closely with our Community Fundraisers providing tactical support to deliver the short and mid-term operations for the function. This will include a variety of tasks and actions to provide this support including but not limited to; General Administrative support, engaging with our supporters both verbally and in writing, assisting our supporters on their donor journey and assisting at events in the region. Key Responsibilities This role is all about engaging our supporters and you will achieve this through your personality and how you engage. With that in mind you will be outgoing and enjoy communicating with new people both via the phone, email and in person. You will have experience building long lasting relationships that drive continual benefit to the organisation. The role will have multiple tasks and projects happening at the same time so you will be able to organise yourself and work proactively with the team. Excellent IT skills are also required, particularly Word and Excel. Most importantly for us you will have a desire to understand the function coupled with the curiosity to learn new skills and experiences.
