The successful applicant will be based on the Regional Bed unit at HMP Manchester and will provide direct care to patients with regards to both their physical and mental health needs. The role is varied and offers the opportunity to develop existing skillsets.
This is a full-time permanent post and the role involves shift work, including night cover on a rotational basis. We would warmly welcome hearing from potential candidates.
To support the multidisciplinary team within the Regional Bed unit at HMP Manchester and the wider healthcare service, ensuring that optimal quality of nursing care is provided to patients who reside in HMP Manchester.
The role involves assessments, formulation and implementation of care plans, and ensuring that optimal quality nursing care is provided to patients who reside at HMP Manchester.
There is a strong focus on multidisciplinary working, giving the opportunity to work alongside a number of different professions to ensure a holistic approach to individual patient care.

Responsibilities
* Provide direct nursing care to patients with physical and mental health needs.

Qualifications & Requirements
* Entry level role
* Registered Mental Health Nurse (NMC) in good standing
