The Recipe (About the Role)
In this exciting role, you'll be responsible for defining, designing, and implementing innovative technology solutions tailored to achieve specific business objectives. Collaborating closely with a diverse range of colleagues—including business stakeholders, developers, and systems administrators—you'll develop systems that are not only efficient but also highly effective, perfectly aligning with Weetabix’s strategic goals.
1. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop scalable, reliable, and secure application designs using appropriate technologies.
2. Design integrated solutions to automate processes for improved operational efficiency and data-driven decision-making.
3. Identify risks and bottlenecks in designs and propose mitigation strategies.
4. Create and maintain architectural documentation, including system diagrams and technical specifications.
5. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, driving innovation and continuous improvement.
6. Communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate across teams.
7. Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards, participate in audits, and implement best practices.
8. Engage in architectural forums and strategically leverage core systems like PowerPlatform and Boomi for economy of scale.
9. Design systems with Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery capabilities, including regular testing.
The Ingredients (What we need from you)
Key Know How:
10. Applications solution architect experience is essential (not infrastructure or network)
11. Domain experience in Supply Chain and preferably also Finance
12. Some experience in creating architectural designs for business solutions including integrations and automation.
13. Knowledge of architectural principles, design patterns and software development methodologies.
14. Experience and technical knowledge of Boomi or similar integration systems.
15. Experience on Azure or other cloud-based platforms including AI services.
16. PowerPlatform / PowerApps / PowerAutomate experience.
17. IT Service experience (ideally ITIL exposure).
18. The ability to create high-level and low-level technical designs to meet business requirements.
19. Understanding of development principles and lifecycles relating to business applications and data management systems
20. Good understanding of businesses processes and ERP / supporting systems including WMS & APS (Advanced Planning System).
Nice To Have:
21. FMCG/Retail/Manufacturing background.
22. Experience in AI solution design and deployment.
23. Intermediate SQL language experience; scripting / development language skills.
24. Experience or knowledge of Extract Transform Load (ETL) and/or Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools.
25. SOX exposure or experience.
