Overview
Working within a small team who have responsibilities for the design, scheduling, ordering and delivery of furnishings on behalf of a UK based holiday company, with properties throughout the UK and Europe. The Office Admin Assistant will play a crucial role in providing support to its client by handling a variety of administrative tasks which may vary depending on the needs of the employer, work streams at a given time and as the business evolves to meet new demands or industry changes
Responsibilities
* Managing Correspondence including processing and placing of orders with suppliers
* Coordination and communication of deliveries from suppliers to sites.
* Effective communication with colleagues, suppliers and sites, identifying and resolving problems and issues
* General Office Administration including filing, assisting with compiling and updating of furnishing and inventory schedules, filing physical and digital documents maintaining office equipment, and ensuring the office environment is tidy and organized. Office accountancy and financial administration where required, at all times paying close attention to detail
* Assisting designers with projects with use of CAD, project co-ordination, by managing time efficiently to prioritise and meet deadlines for successful completion of tasks,
* Adapt and be flexible to changing priorities and responsibilities and maintain confidentiality at all times
* In addition to these functions, you will be required to carry out such other duties as may reasonably be required
Skills
* Previous experience of an administrative role and a background or interest in Interior Design.
* IT literate, including using email Word, Excel and google sheets.
* Knowledge of project or design software is advantageous including CAD
* Conscientious, reliable and have good attention to detail.
* Good communication skills and able to work within a small team.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £23,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 22.5 – 37.5 per week
