Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an administrator / clinical care coordinator to join our friendly practice team on a temporary / maternity cover basis. In this vital administrative role, you'll ensure patients receive seamless, high quality care by managing clinical documentation, coordinating referrals, maintaining patient records and supporting both clinical and management teams.
Main duties
* Process patient documentation upon receipt at the surgery into patient records
* All general administrative clerical duties, including typing letters, photocopying, filing, outgoing post, updating policies and procedures etc.
* Process and update registration links and workflow SCRs on a daily basis, liaising with PCSE to solve any queries, including deductions, FP69 notifications and GP2GP transfers
* Process patient records coming in or leaving the practice

Accountable to: Practice Manager
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Process patient documentation upon receipt at the surgery into patient records
* All general administrative clerical duties, including typing letters, photocopying, filing, outgoing post, updating policies and procedures etc.
* Process and update registration links and workflow SCRs on a daily basis, liaising with PCSE to solve any queries, including deductions, FP69 notifications and GP2GP transfers
* Process patient records coming in or leaving the practice
* Updating databases
* Attendance at practice meetings as minute taker
* Carry out tasks required to support PCN
* Organising of patient care including data inputting
* Care areas: suspected cancer, mental health, 2 week referrals, patient safety incidents, newly diagnosed cancer, end of life care, supportive care, complex patients requiring caseload support
* Estates: ensure all maintenance up to date. Renewals of certificates, including fire extinguishers and alarms, air conditioning units, vehicle insurance, calibration of equipment, PAT testing, fridge servicing, van MOT & Service
* Maintain practice schedule of audit requirements
* Patient participation group
* Provide support to Management team with all aspects of administrative work
* Maintain confidentiality at all times
* Provide holiday / sickness cover as and when requested
* Maintain awareness of and compliance with the Practice Procedural Guidelines and General Health & Safety Regulations within the Practice
* Undertake any further duties that may be required from time to time as requested by the Partners or Management team
