Medivet Coningsby and Horncastle have an exciting opportunity to join their team on a full-time basis, split between both practices. The teams are passionate about patient care and high clinical standards, and they’re committed to continuous improvement.
Medivet Horncastle is a well-established, branch partner-led clinic located centrally with great access to transport links. Dave, the branch partner, is a qualified Vet GDP advisor.
Our Coningsby practice is a small, single-vet practice with one consult room, a theatre, and a prep room, all off of a pleasant reception area.
The role is 40 hours a week, with 2 days at Coningsby and 3 days at Horncastle, including 1 in 4 Saturday mornings, for which you will receive TOIL. The working shifts will vary depending on staffing levels at Horncastle.

Role Accountabilities

In This Role You Will
* Deliver exceptional care to your clients.
* Support surgeries and procedures, completing all pre- and post-procedure activities.
* Carry out nurse-led appointments and schedule three activities.
* Provide patient monitoring and care.
* Manage admissions and discharges as directed by the Veterinary team.
* Complete patient transfers to out-of-hours or enhanced care.
* Dispense and check medication.
* Deliver professional excellence, complying with all regulatory, practice, and operational standards.
* Hold briefings to engage and coordinate your team for effective practice operation.
Your Skills And Experience
* RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse.
* Experience in delivering exceptional patient and client care.
* Effective team player.
* Supportive of Nurse consults, understanding their contribution to practice performance and efficiency.
* Skilled in coaching and influencing colleagues.
