Role Overview
This role is responsible for planning and executing the retail trade plan to drive the commercial performance of the brand and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
A Day in the Life of an eCommerce Manager at N Brown
* Accountable for a high-performing retail website, including day-to-day site management
* Plan and execute daily, weekly, and monthly campaigns and product promotions
* Lead a robust post-activity review process to inform future optimisation
* Identify new opportunities for channel growth and support a test-and-learn approach, implementing successful outcomes
* Work closely with Digital Technology (DT) to improve platform processes and customer experience
* Partner with eCommerce Optimisation SMEs to deliver a positive end-to-end customer journey
* Build strong internal relationships across Trading and cross-functional teams including Financial Services, Brand, Digital Marketing, CRM, and Product
* Work towards exceeding budgeted KPIs on a daily, weekly, and yearly basis
* Report channel performance to senior stakeholders with clear insights to drive actions
* Deputise for the Head of Trade when required
* Drive performance tracking discipline and leverage insights to achieve growth targets
* Use customer insight, competitor analysis, and business performance data to support quarterly business planning
* Share best practice and knowledge across retail brands
* Chair cross-functional meetings, set agendas, and ensure actions are completed
* Lead and coach a high-performing team, setting objectives, managing PDPs, and conducting regular performance reviews and 1-to-1s

Ways of Working
We offer hybrid working, which varies depending on the role. Our Head Office is located in the Northern Quarter, Manchester city centre — easily accessible by train, tram, or bus, and surrounded by great cafés, bars, and places to eat. Full-time working hours are 36.17 hours per week over 5 days. We don’t have strict working hours, offering flexibility around start and finish times as long as business needs are met.
