Title: BusinessAnalyst

Demonstrated experience reporting on progress of deliverablesmilestones issues and risks to various audiences including steeringcommittees and formal status reporting.
Description
1.Leads business analysis efforts for systems utilizing Software as aService (SaaS) solutions in Identity and Access Management such asOkta to assess clients business challenges and opportunitiesrelated to identity and access management.
2.Facilitates sessions within the Identity and Access Managementdomain with SaaS vendors and technology teams to evaluate thefeasibility of leveraging and customizing SaaS features to meetspecific business requirements.
3. Documents businessrequirements in a manner that enables I&IT solutions to bedetermined and implemented by SaaS vendors.
4. Supportsthe adoption of Public Secure and the onboarding of ProgramAreas.
5. Develops comprehensive documentation andsupport materials for Program Areas to integrate with identityproviders like Okta. This documentation includes user flow guidesHowToVideos and integration best practices aimed at streamliningthe onboarding process for Program Areas to PublicSecure.
6. Applies reengineering concepts to drivebusiness improvements and SaaS customizations through innovativeand costeffective service delivery approaches.
7.Collaborates with technology teams to develop usability forecastmodels by analyzing historical usage trends against variousidentity and access management use cases.
8. Leads andconducts business analysis activities at various levels of detailwith technology cybersecurity and privacy teams as required basedon the nature of the identity and access managementdeliverable.
9. Designs robust processes forrequirements gathering including Joint Application Design (JAD)sessions interviews and mockups.
10. Performs businessmodeling use case modeling conceptual and logical data modelingprocess and data flow modeling use case surveys business rulesdefinition and nonfunctional requirements definitions for assignedprojects.
11. Monitors progress resolves issues andprovides regular updates to management and stakeholders.
12. Develops performance measures and traceability matrices forevaluating business analysis efforts and conducts followupactivities.
13. Provides project updates to the ProjectManager identifies project issues and risks and escalates them tothe project manager when necessary.
14. Collaboratesclosely with the Product Owner Project Manager and Systems Analyststo ensure project objectives are met.
15. Facilitatesdesign discussions and issue resolution with clientgroups.
16. Supports testers by clarifying requirementsand validating test scenarios and cases.
Experience and Skill SetRequirements
1. Business and FunctionalRequirements Gathering and Documentation(30%)
1.1. Ability to documentbusiness and data requirements into specifications sufficient fordesigning appropriate technology solutions.
1.2.Experience with a wide range of methods tools and techniques forbusiness analysis such as: business functional modelling businessevent modelling business process mapping.
1.3. Knowledgeand understanding of Accessibility for Ontarians with DisabilityAct (AODA) and related regulations and standards.
1.4.Ability to provide a comprehensive range of I&IT businessanalysis services for clients with diverse business andtechnological needs.
1.5. Interact with the businessstakeholders and subject matter experts in order to understandtheir requirements through gathering documenting and analyzingbusiness needs and requirements.
1.6. 10 yearsexperience in a business analyst capacity participating in variousstages of the project lifecycle.
1.7. Experienceconducting requirements gathering workshops and developingdocumentation.
1.8. Demonstrated experience withcreating Business Cases Screen Design/User Interface BusinessProcess Model Flows and Logical architecture artifacts among otherdeliverables.
1.9. Experience identifying anddocumenting testing plans schedules and cases. Supporting testingresources and clarifying expected outcomes.
