We have an exciting opportunity for a Practice Manager to join our Medivet Carterton and Eynsham practices.

As the Practice Manager, you will take on a key leadership role in the practice, with responsibility for the day-to-day operations, team development, and overall management.
In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the success and growth of the practice. You will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our patients, clients, and team members, while ensuring a happy work environment and a healthy work-life balance for all staff.
This role is part-time, 27 hours per week, with flexibility in hours and shift patterns between Carterton and Eynsham.

Role Accountabilities

* Delivering exceptional client care, monitoring feedback, and implementing improvements.
* Working with the Lead Vet and Regional Operations Director to maximize performance, focusing on KPIs, capacity, and cost management.
* Ensuring compliance with regulations and conducting audits to share best practices.
* Managing practice rotas to ensure optimal service and utilization of clinical skills.
* Recruiting, onboarding, and engaging team members to promote retention and success.
* Promoting the practice through community events and other channels.
Skills and Experience
* Experience in practice environments, ideally veterinary, GP, or dental.
* Understanding of exceptional care and client experience.
* Knowledge of regulatory compliance and process management.
* Proven ability to drive performance through financial management and marketing.
* Resource planning experience.
* Coaching and influencing skills to motivate colleagues.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and good numeracy and analytical skills.
* Leadership experience in managing teams.
