GSL Education are seeking a committed Primary Teacher to join a friendly and supportive primary school in Brighton, delivering engaging lessons and inspiring young learners across the curriculum.
About the Role:
This is a dynamic classroom teaching role where you will take responsibility for planning, delivering, and assessing lessons in line with the national curriculum. The school values creativity, high expectations, and a nurturing environment where all pupils can thrive.
Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to meet the needs of all pupils
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports learning and well-being
* Assess and track pupil progress, providing feedback and support where needed
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop schemes of work and share best practice
* Engage with parents and carers to support pupils’ learning and development
* Maintain high standards of behaviour through positive classroom management
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognised equivalent
* Experience teaching in a primary school setting
* Strong knowledge of the national curriculum
* Excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
* Enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or willingness to apply)
