About the role
As a Personal Business Manager in our Personal Banking Team, you’ll be responsible for providing market leading service that meets the financial needs of Business Banking customers. This includes the experience of the small business banking customer, following the customer interaction and credit process that establishes what financial solutions the customer needs, and recommending then delivering the solutions. The role is also accountable to acquire, retain and grow profitable relationships through each interaction.

As a Personal Business Manager, you will have the opportunity to:
1. Effectively manage referrals & ensure timely turn-around of customer requests / enquiries
2. Deliver on the customer leads in line with Business Banking model strategy
3. Enhance Business Banking profile and build internal business referrals
4. Grow revenue through new client acquisition, origination of new small business customers and providing banking solutions
5. Contribute to regional performance objectives through meeting customer needs with ANZ solutions;
6. Follow customer interaction process that identifies need, and recommends solutions within established advice model and disclosure requirements
7. Submission of quality loan applications in line with bank credit policy requirements and held Credit Approval Discretion (CAD)
8. Meet all compliance and well managed measures including ensuring high data quality
9. Ensure disclosure and compliance requirements for sales, credit and customer complaints are met
10. To profitably grow the portfolio whilst adhering to Bank/BB credit and risk policies (well managed portfolio)
11. Ensure Bank’s compliance and audit requirements are met by following operational procedures.
12. Work with other segments within the bank to identify opportunities for growth, maximise share of wallet and meet customer needs

14. Proven experience in lending and credit assessment
15. Effective customer interaction skills with a solid understanding of end‑to‑end interaction processes
16. Sound knowledge of banking policies, procedures, and internal systems
17. Comprehensive understanding of bank products and services
18. Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
