Help shape the future of fire safety! Join Nottinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service as a Fire Protection Trainer / Co-ordinator and play a vital role in training the next generation of Fire Safety Inspectors.
Location: Nottingham, NG9 2GQ
Responsibilities
* Coordinate and deliver Level 3i and Level 3 Fire Safety qualifications
* Assist in the development of CPD to support the ongoing competence of staff
* Assist in the development and production of training packages and aids
* Undertake assessments and mentor candidates who are working towards the completion of the qualifications
* Support both internal and external quality assurance activities
* Provide an internal assurance function to the Service, ensuring that learners are making progress towards the completion of qualifications
Experience / Qualifications
* Experience in creating, developing, and delivering training packages to both groups and individuals
* Ability to interpret, simplify, and disseminate information to others
* An understanding of Microsoft Office programs
* Awareness of the Equality Act
* Hold a driving licence (adjustments will be discussed with disabled applicants if required)
Contract and Salary
* 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday
* Fixed term contract, 24 months
* Grade 5: £33,699 - £37,280
