Description
Amazon Music is seeking a talented Legal Assistant in London to support our expanding European Global Entertainment Legal team, which includes Amazon Music, Prime Video, Amazon MGM Studios, Audible, Twitch, and Amazon Games. The ideal candidate will efficiently handle high volumes of administrative tasks and projects, identify and implement process improvements in contracting, and be eager to learn about new subject matters and issues.
The successful candidate should be able to collaborate effectively with Amazon’s entertainment legal and business teams, prioritize multiple demands, and approach problems proactively and creatively.
Key job responsibilities
1. Administer contracts and support automation/simplification projects.
2. Assist in adopting legal AI tools and perform general administrative tasks for entertainment legal and business clients, including offsite and pro bono work coordination.
3. Manage projects involving information sharing, metrics gathering, and report preparation.
About The Team
This role supports an international team with lawyers in the UK and across the EU, closely integrated with colleagues in the US. Some international travel may be required.
Basic Qualifications
* Experience as a legal or executive assistant, office manager, or administrator.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, with a willingness to learn new software and AI tools.
* Ability to streamline and improve legal and contracting processes.
* Capability to update legal resources.
* Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to work independently.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in an in-house legal department and contract management.
* University-level education or equivalent.
* Knowledge of other European languages such as German, French, Italian, or Spanish is a plus.
