We’re on the lookout for a confident and motivated Assistant Manager for this site. You’ll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the business, leading the team by example and stepping up to take the reins when needed.

The job in a nutshell
* Support the General Manager in all aspects of running the pub
* Lead and inspire the team to deliver excellent customer service
* Oversee shift operations, manage staff rotas, and handle customer feedback
* Ensure high standards of cleanliness, safety, and compliance
* Assist with stock control, ordering, cash handling, and daily reports
* Help drive sales through great service, events, and community engagement
What we are looking for:
* Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant manager role in hospitality
* A hands-on, lead-from-the-front approach
* Great communication skills and a calm, positive attitude under pressure
* A genuine passion for food, drink, and creating great guest experiences
* Strong organisational skills and a good head for numbers
* A team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment
