This role is not limited to office paperwork — it requires a practical presence on site, ensuring compliance and promoting a safe working environment. Candidates with management backgrounds or hands‑on site experience are preferred over purely academic health and safety qualifications, as remote site conditions demand practical expertise.

Providing guidance to site teams and subcontractors on safe working practices
Supporting management in maintaining a strong safety culture across the project

Requirements
SMSTS certification & NEBOSH/IOSH
CSCS card
First Aid qualification
Strong background in site‑based health and safety management
Practical experience in civil engineering or renewable energy projects
Ability to balance site presence with documentation and compliance responsibilities

Freelance position, approximately 12 month duration
10‑hour days, Monday to Friday
Accommodation arranged by candidates and added to the day rate if candidate not local to site
