Pay: £110 per day

A fantastic secondary school in Caerphilly is seeking unqualified teachers to join their friendly, dynamic team. This is an ideal opportunity for individuals with backgrounds in sport, psychology, youth work, coaching, or behaviour support who are looking to gain valuable, hands-on experience in education.
About the Role
You’ll play a key role in supporting students both in and out of the classroom — promoting positive behaviour, encouraging engagement, and ensuring a safe, inclusive learning environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Delivering pre-set lessons across a range of subjects (no planning required).
* Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive atmosphere.
* Providing 1:1 or small group support for students with emotional, behavioural, or learning needs.
* Encouraging participation, focus, and motivation in lessons.
* Working closely with teaching and pastoral teams to support pupil progress and wellbeing.
About You
We’re looking for individuals who are:
* Confident communicators with strong classroom presence and behaviour management skills.
* Energetic, proactive, and adaptable, with a genuine passion for helping young people succeed.
* Interested in education, child development, psychology, or mental health.
* Experienced (or interested) in areas such as sport, youth work, coaching, or behaviour support.
* Hold (or are willing to apply for) an enhanced DBS check.
