As a Commercial Base Manager, you will have a direct influence in shaping the future of how we manage our customer base by designing cutting-edge commercial strategies that drive value, retention, and growth across the whole Sky Base (TV, Broadband and Mobile). The role is multifaceted and requires collaboration across multiple teams. Working within a high-performing team, to develop the future strategy for our customer base, to drive stability and key commercial KPIs.

What You Will Do
* Develop and implement strategies that stabilise our customer base, ensuring we’re future-ready from an existing-customer perspective for selected products, channels & key moments in the customer lifecycle
* Build & maintain our 3rd Party relationship with Afiniti Inc. Afiniti is a multinational data and software company that uses modelling to determine intelligent pairing between customers & agents. They drive incremental benefit to Sky’s profitability based on human behaviour, leading to more successful interactions in Sky’s customer base.
* Generate new ideas, becoming an expert on external and internal influences that could change and adapt our future thinking including regulation, competitor landscape and Gen AI
* Engage effectively with our Product P&L, Marketing, Customer Experience, Change Delivery and Analytics teams working collaboratively to implement and bring strategies to life
* Produce insightful analysis and recommendations for cohorts & trends to reduce churn/cost, increase revenue and/or drive product upgrades
* Regularly present your work to both big and small audiences – producing presentation packs that are slick and easy to understand, and articulating their content in a way that drives effective stakeholder engagement
What You’ll Bring
* You’ll be a strategic thinker – able to take complex ideas and simplify them into a plan that is forward looking and puts the customer first
* You’ll be brilliant at translating customer insight into strong commercial strategies that drive momentum and strong business performance
* You’ll be very commercially aware and numerate, able to size commercial opportunities and influence your network to keep us focused on what’s important
* You’ll have strong analytical skills and be confident using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint – producing packs and business cases that cut through complexity and lead straight to a decision.
* You’ll be excellent at collaborating with several stakeholders, and skilled at communicating up, down and across the organisation
* You’ll be a strong communicator, confident at presenting your recommendations across the organisation and able to bring stakeholders on a journey
* Ideally, you’ll have previous experience with commercial/strategy roles, base management or customer retention programmes as well as experience with 3rd party relations.

Our Osterley Campus is a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Or you can hop on one of our free shuttle buses that run to and from Osterley, Gunnersbury, Ealing Broadway and South Ealing tube stations. There’s also plenty of bike shelters and showers
