Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Dispenser to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate dispensing of medications and providing exceptional patient care. You will work closely with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to ensure that all prescriptions are filled correctly and that patients receive the necessary guidance regarding their medication.
Duties
* Accurately dispense medications as per prescriptions, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
* Provide excellent patient care by answering queries related to medications and offering advice on their proper use.
* Assist in the administration of medication under the supervision of a pharmacist when required.
* Maintain accurate records of prescriptions dispensed and manage inventory levels effectively.
* Ensure that the pharmacy environment is clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety standards.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes through effective communication and teamwork.
Experience
* Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician is highly desirable.
* Strong background in patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards patients' needs.
* Familiarity with medication administration processes is advantageous.
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills are essential for managing multiple tasks effectively.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated to complete individual responsibilities.
