Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in working with SEN children.
This role requires excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing high-quality care and education to young children.
Responsibilities
* Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow.
* Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote children's development across all areas of learning.
* Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to support their individual needs.
* Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication.
* Support the management team in maintaining high standards of care and education within the nursery.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, safeguarding policies, and nursery procedures.
* Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
* Previous experience working in a nursery or similar childcare setting is desirable.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
* A genuine passion for working with children and understanding their developmental needs. especially SEND.
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Contract length: 10 months
Pay: £12.21-£13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 20 per week
