Job Summary
Marie Curie are looking to recruit a Healthcare Assistant to join their Hospice Care at Home Overnight Service, supporting patients with compassionate one-to-one care and emotional support to patients with a life-limiting illness and families across Bradford, Airedale and surrounding areas.

Main Responsibilities
•Deliver compassionate one-to-one care for patients with life-limiting illnesses in their own homes, supporting both individuals and their families overnight.
•Provide personal care, monitor symptoms, and assist with medication in line with established care plans and clinical guidance.
•Offer emotional and practical support to patients and loved ones, building trusting, supportive relationships during end-of-life care.
•Maintain accurate records, work independently using initiative, and ensure safe, high-quality care always
Essential Skills
•Recent experience of providing care and caring for people with life limiting illness or palliative care needs
•Be a UK licensed driver with access to a car and business insurance is essential
Desirable Skills
•Relevant community experience
•Emotional strength and the ability to work on your own are crucial, though we will of course provide excellent on-going training and support
