The Role…
This is a fulfilling and hands-on opportunity within specialist school settings in Brighouse, supporting pupils with complex and additional needs. Each day will offer something new, as you work closely with students to support their learning, communication, and personal development.
You will play a key role in both classroom and pastoral support, helping pupils take part in activities, build confidence, and feel secure in their environment. The role will involve supporting with personal care, mobility, and communication, ensuring each child is supported with consistency, dignity, and care.
You’ll Be…
• Experienced in supporting people (of any age) with complex needs, disabilities, or SEND
• Confident assisting with personal care, manual handling, and mobility support
• Calm, caring, and able to build positive, trusting relationships
• Flexible, proactive, and comfortable in a practical, hands-on role
