Believ: ABOUT US

At Believ, formerly known as Liberty Charge, we’re committed to sustainable transport being accessible to everyone. We’re a Charge Point Operator (CPO) on a mission to create the UK’s most reliable electric vehicle charging network that doesn’t cost the earth and leaves no one behind. Providing equitable access to electric vehicle charging, and achieving cleaner air for all, is at the heart of the Believ mission. We work closely with local authorities and businesses to deliver reliable, high quality charging networks at pace, at scale and at zero cost.

We offer all the advantages of being a scale-up business, but with the added security and long-term backing from well-known parents - Liberty Global (who also own our delivery partner, Virgin Media O2) and Zouk Capital (who manage the Government’s Charging Investment Infrastructure Fund).

You’ll be joining this exciting journey at the start of our scale-up phase, and working with us to hit the ambitious targets our shareholders have set. You’ll become part of a passionate and supportive team in a fast-paced, dynamic and result-driven environment.

About the role

You will be the go-to person for bringing our brand to life across social media, working both independently and with agency partners to plan, create, and publish content that builds communities, drives engagement, and showcases our impact. As the “boots on the ground,” you’ll be responsible for capturing real-time content from events, site installations, and team activity — helping us tell authentic stories that connect with our audiences.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Channel Management

1. Support the Digital Marketing Manager in creating the strategy, owning the execution across all channels (inc. LinkedIn, Instagram, Meta, X), aligned to marketing and business objectives
2. Develop and maintain a rolling content calendar, ensuring a consistent, planned cadence of posts across all platforms
3. Manage channel health inc. follower growth, engagement trends, audience composition and report on performance against agreed targets

Content Creation & Copywriting

5. Liaise with colleagues across the business to ensure all relevant stories and content is shared via social media channels
6. Brief, direct and review creative assets (photography, video, graphics) in collaboration with designers and colleagues, being our ‘boots on the ground’ at Believ events, site installations or partner activations to capture content
7. Produce reactive and evergreen content that responds to trends, news and conversations relevant to our brand and industry
8. Maintain a consistent brand voice that is recognisable, differentiated and aligned to brand guidelines

Community & Engagement

9. Manage community engagement across all channels, monitoring comments, responding to messages and mentions, and escalating issues when required
10. Identify brand champions and community members, finding ways to amplify their voices authentically
11. Monitor sector conversations, competitor activity and cultural movements for relevant engagement opportunities

Analytics & Reporting

12. Own the regular social media performance report, inc. key metrics such as reach, engagement, followers, clicks, conversions and share of voice. Use insights to inform strategy.
13. Track KPIs for each channel against targets, taking a test, learn and optimise approach to improve performance.
14. Stay up to date with platform updates and new or emerging channels
