PAY RATE: £12.60 per hour

SHIFT PATTERN: as required, 20 hours per week

Role Overview and Purpose

We are seeking a professional, trustworthy Guest Services Host who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, ensuring guests and visitors receive a warm welcome and a positive first impression of the center.


Key Responsibilities

1. Respond to written and verbal customer inquiries.
2. Direct customers to stores within the center.
3. Transfer calls to management as needed.
4. Sell gift cards and reconcile cash daily.
5. Conduct health and safety checks.
6. Operate mobility scooter and wheelchair hire services.
7. Manage Drop It services.
8. Report and log maintenance issues.
9. Maintain stock of leaflets and signage.
10. Greet guests warmly, escort them if possible.
11. Upsell gift cards to visitors.
12. Provide local area information and directions.
13. Answer calls and provide appropriate info.
14. Manage cash float responsibly.
15. Build relationships with guests and colleagues, anticipating needs.
16. Ensure guest and staff safety, familiar with emergency procedures.
17. Maintain personal hygiene and grooming standards.
18. Promote inter-departmental cooperation for guest satisfaction.
19. Meet KPIs and adhere to GDPR protocols.
