Job Description :
* We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to join our Manufacturing Technologies Team at Client location.
* You will be responsible for the deployment, development, and support of automated machinery used in the assembly of aircraft wing structures and sub-assemblies.
* This includes a wide range of processes such as drilling, fastening, routering, and milling.
Key Responsibilities
* Define and implement new automated machinery solutions.
* Develop and improve automated assembly processes.
* Provide project management support for automation initiatives.
* Offer technical support and advice for existing automated systems, including cutters, drills, and routers.
* Collaborate with stakeholders across engineering and manufacturing.
* Analyze performance data using statistical and digital tools.
Automation Scope Includes
* Large Cartesian machines
* Industrial robots
* CNC milling machines
* Lightweight solutions and collaborative robots (cobots)
Required Skills and Experience
* Proven experience in automation, robotics, or manufacturing engineering.
* Degree in Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
* Strong knowledge of automated production processes.
* Experience using data analysis/statistical software (e.g., Minitab, Skywise).
* Demonstrated project management capabilities.
* Excellent problem-solving skills (including PPS).
* Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
