Electricians and Improvers Semi Skilled – Industrial and Electrical Panel Wiring & Electrical Testing Techs
Electrical work in process plants and factories, mainly on industrial type work, involving the installation of electrical cable tray, ladder racking and electrical cables.
Connecting electrical cables to panels and other electrical systems from electrical engineering drawings. Checking work and performing testing.
Working from IPAF or MEWP Scissor Lift / Cherry Picker.
Qualifications
* C&G or NVQ Level 3 (17th edition, ideally 18th edition) & 2391 Electrical Engineering.
* Current CSCS or ECS Card.
* IPAF or MEWP Card.
* Harness Training.
* Working at Heights Certificate.
Working Hours
Normally 07:30 to 16:30, Monday to Friday, with extra hours if required and Saturday if required.
Pay Rates
Skilled: £27+ per hour, Saturday £33 per hour. Semi-skilled: £19 to £21+ per hour.
Term of Work
4 to 8+ weeks, with other phases of work on this site and on other local sites such as Colchester, Essex, Peterborough, Kings Lynn. Work may run from 8 to 12+ weeks, subject to attendance, performance and workload. The company aims to keep reliable workers on ongoing work within 20 to 50 minutes travel time.
