Machine learning engineer

Salary: £60,000 - 75,000 per year Requirements: We are looking for a software or data engineering background, ideally with experience in Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, or similar technologies. We want genuine passion for generative AI and/or advanced machine learning, including tools and frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, LlamaCPP, or Keras. We value experience with a range of databases, including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and CosmosDB. We prefer exposure to cloud services, with AWS being especially desirable. We need strong communication skills. Experience working in R&D or within small technical teams would be an advantage. We are seeking candidates with a couple of years of commercial experience. Candidates must be British citizens due to the nature of the work. Responsibilities: We work within an R&D team to collaborate with industry partners. We turn ideas into production-ready, market-leading solutions. We build and apply generative AI and machine learning technologies in a national security innovation environment. We contribute across the full project lifecycle with end-to-end exposure. We operate in a collaborative and autonomous working environment. We support innovation through technical development and delivery.
