You’ll be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations, managing our friendly team, delivering exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards in both food and beverage service. This role comes at an exciting time — following a full renovation, we are thrilled to be opening part of the Waterfront in Portreath, Cornwall, which has been transformed into a beautiful, welcoming café/bar. Situated right on a stunning North Coast beach, this seaside venue offers breathtaking views and a relaxed, coastal vibe — the perfect place for people to unwind and enjoy great food and drinks. We need someone who can help bring that vision to life. Key Responsibilities: * Oversee the daily operations of the café and bar to ensure everything runs efficiently. * Manage, train, and motivate a small team of staff, fostering a positive and supportive working environment. * Deliver outstanding customer service — always with a smile. * Monitor food and drink quality and presentation to maintain high standards. * Handle customer queries and complaints professionally and with care. * Assist with stock ordering, inventory management, and supplier communication. * Ensure cleanliness, health & safety, and hygiene standards are upheld at all times. * Collaborate with the owner and team to improve processes and maintain a welcoming atmosphere.
