About the role
We are looking for a reliable and versatile Multi-Skilled Engineer with plumbing experience to join our growing team. In this role, you will carry out a wide variety of maintenance, repair, and installation tasks across our client sites, ensuring all works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. The position involves both planned and reactive maintenance, with evening and weekend rota commitments.
You will be expected to have a strong core trade in plumbing, but also be confident carrying out additional multi-trade tasks across carpentry, decorating, ground works, and basic electrical maintenance. This is a customer-facing role, so professionalism and a can-do attitude are essential.
Key responsibilities
• Carry out plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance, including pipework, sanitary ware, leak repairs, and system fault-finding.
• Perform multi-trade works including: painting and decorating, simple carpentry and joinery, basic electrics and fault-finding, and general building maintenance and ground works.
• Respond to reactive maintenance requests as first point of contact.
• Complete planned preventative maintenance across client properties.
• Diagnose faults and provide safe, efficient, and effective solutions.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including carrying out risk assessments and following safe working practices.
• Maintain accurate records of works completed, using company systems and reporting procedures.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure minimal disruption and high-quality service delivery.
Skills and experience required
• NVQ Level 2 or above in Plumbing (or equivalent qualification/experience).
• Proven experience in plumbing maintenance and fault-finding within commercial or residential environments.
• Good all-round skills across additional trades such as carpentry, painting, decorating, and basic electrics.
• Ability to work independently, use initiative, and manage workload effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Full UK driving licence.

• Experience working in commercial, industrial, or multi-site environments.
