We're seeking a skilled professional to join our team as an Audit Manager. As part of this role, you'll be responsible for leading audit teams and ensuring the delivery of high-quality audits that meet the needs of our clients.
Audit Manager Responsibilities
* Act as a major point of contact within the firm, responding quickly to requests and keeping stakeholders informed of progress.
* Responsible for the financial management of a portfolio and ensuring adherence to risk management and quality control procedures.
* Identify and recognise business and sales opportunities, supporting Partners and Senior Managers in the development of new business relationships.
* Recruit, retain, develop and motivate employees, participating in graduate recruitment and ensuring appropriate objectives and development plans are in place.
* Work as part of a management team with other Audit Managers, contributing to resource planning, merit rate meetings and efficiency gains.
Audit Manager Requirements
* ACA/ICAS qualified or overseas equivalent.
* Good working knowledge of UK and International GAAS, IFRS, UK GAAP and Financial Reporting requirements.
* Working knowledge of financial products, firm services, issues regarding advice and regulation, and compliance including anti-money laundering.
* Experience of systems/controls testing and substantive auditing, including consolidations, group audits, statutory accounts, and disclosures.
* Project Management experience.
