We are currently recruiting for an experienced Document Controller to join a major construction project based full-time on site at Marne Barracks, Catterick.
This is a long-term opportunity on a high-profile project, offering stability and the potential to move into a permanent position.
Key Responsibilities
Set up, manage and maintain project document control systems in line with company, client and project requirements
Control, issue, receive and archive drawings, technical documents and project correspondence
Maintain accurate document registers, logs and transmittals
Ensure controlled copies of latest approved documents are distributed to the correct teams, subcontractors and suppliers
Support project teams with document management, audits and quality checks
Maintain both electronic and hard-copy document libraries in line with company standards
Requirements
Proven Document Controller experience within construction or engineering projects
Strong experience using Viewpoint (essential)
Knowledge of GliderBIM preferred but not essential
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
Confident using electronic document management systems
Able to work site-based 5 days per week
Security & Clearance
BPSS clearance not required upfront - the client will sponsor this
The role may require SC clearance in the future, which will be sponsored by the client (candidate must be willing to consent to checks)
