The post holder will be responsible for ensuring the highest standard of clinical care is provided for patients referred to the District Nursing Services, which is delivered over a 24 hour period. In pursuing these duties the post holder will ensure compliance with the NHS Constitution.
Responsibilities
 * Support the Team Leader in the provision of strong clinical leadership and in ensuring the principles of clinical governance are implemented at a local level within the designated team.
 * Adhere at all times to the Code of Conduct as published by the Nursing and Midwifery Council and work within the policies and guidelines as laid down by Airedale NHS Foundation Trust.

Disclosures and DBS
If you are offered a position which requires you to undertake a Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, Airedale NHS Foundation Trust will administer the DBS check on your behalf and will recover the cost (Enhanced £54.40, Standard or Basic £26.40) from your first full month's salary. You are encouraged to participate in the DBS Update Service and pay the £16 cost per year.
