We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Support Workers to join our team in Faringdon, providing one-to-one care to three residents with learning disabilities and autism. Some residents may occasionally exhibit challenging behaviour, so experience and patience are essential. What You’ll Be Doing: Providing one-to-one support tailored to each resident’s needs Assisting with daily routines and personal care Encouraging independence and life skills development Supporting residents with social activities, outings, and community engagement Managing challenging behaviour using positive behaviour support strategies What We’re Looking For: Understanding of Health & Safety and Safeguarding Adults Previous experience in social care, especially with learning disabilities, autism, and challenging behaviour Moving and handling training is an advantage Patience, resilience, and a calm approach to care First Aid training is beneficial This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference while enjoying the flexibility of temporary work.
