The driver roleconsists of threeelements:
· DrivingHET from our depots in Catterick, North Yorkshire and Bulford,Wiltshire whenrequired.
· Beaffiliated to a local driving agency close to home, to drivecommercial vehicles on behalf of theirclients
· Beinga Sponsored Reserve (SR) in the BritishArmy
JOBROLE
Commercial
· Partof a highly skilled, specialistteam
· Workingfrom our Bulford or Catterick Depot, to operate the HET and deliverheavy equipment for the BritishArmy.
· Opportunityto work at our depot in Germany for short periods (2-4weeks).
· Whennot driving HET, drivers will be allocated to a local drivingagency near to home where they will undertake HGV driving dutiesassigned to them.
Military
· Driversare required to become Sponsored Reserves (SR) in the British Armyand will be required to undertake military training to supportexercises and operations whenrequired.
· Deployon Operations and Exercise asrequired.
· Reservistcommitment met as part of the job, not in your owntime.
· Willwork closely with affiliated Regular Army unit,19 Tank TransporterSquadron.
SALARY& BENEFIT
Commercial
· Basesalary £41,620.67 with an On-Target Earning (OTE) potential of£49.3k. The salary covers all threeroles
· Accommodationand overnight travel and subsistence provided when working awayfrom homelocation.
· Someweekend working at 50% (Sat) and 100% (Sun) payuplift
· CompanyPension Scheme, life insurance, subsidised travel towork.
· Optionto lease an Electric Vehicle using salary sacrificescheme.
Military
· Upto 50% pay uplift as an SR when called out for exercises andoperations
· ReceiveReservist annual bonus (Yr 1 £480 – Yr 5£1,970).
REQUIREDQUALIFICATIONS
Commercial
· HGVC+E qualified with less than 6 Driving Licencepoints.
· Indate Tachograph and CPCCard
Military
· Eligibleto join the British Army as a Sponsored Reserve(SR).
· Medicallyfit.
