What You’ll Be Doing
As the Branch Sales Manager, your focus will be on fostering connections, achieving sales goals, and cultivating strong customer relationships. Collaborating with clients and, at times, the branch, you will develop strategic business plans to drive progress. Ideal candidates will possess industry expertise in Heavyside and construction, particularly with a civils background. Proficiency in pricing strategies, generating reports, and utilizing CRM tools is essential to effectively manage operations. Your primary objective is to reach sales and profit objectives while providing exceptional value to each client. Promptly addressing issues like pricing discrepancies, payment concerns, or service issues is key to maintaining customer satisfaction. While not directly overseeing the team (a responsibility of the Branch Manager), your role ensures seamless collaboration for successful outcomes.

Working hours: Monday-Friday, 7:30 am - 5:00 pm, with alternate Saturday mornings (8:00 am - 12:00 pm). Enjoy your weekends off!
What You’ll Be Responsible For
7. Sales Strategy Development: Collaborating with the Branch Manager and Sales Supervisor to develop and execute a sales strategy that grows existing customers and attracts new ones.
8. Team Engagement: Engaging the branch team to ensure everyone is aligned and actively contributes to the sales plan.
9. Product Knowledge & Profitability: Using your product knowledge to offer the best solutions, drive profitability, and suggest alternatives when needed.
10. Market Awareness: Monitoring local competition and working with the external sales team to create customer strategies that add value and boost sales.
11. Business Plan Review: Reviewing business plans for your customers and supporting plans for others within the team.
12. Sales Promotions & Supplier Collaboration: Driving branch and regional sales promotions while collaborating with suppliers to maximise sales opportunities.
13. Safety Leadership: Leading safety initiatives and ensuring the branch maintains a strong safety culture.
Who You Are
You’ll need to be:
14. Experienced & Motivated Full UK Driving Licence with 2+ years of front-line sales experience and a proven track record in developing customer relationships.
15. Customer-Focused & Collaborative Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work well within a team and influence others.
16. Strategic & Insightful Able to think strategically, plan ahead, and use data to generate insights and make recommendations.
17. Passionate & Resilient A self-motivator with a passion for sales, exceptional customer service, and the resilience to succeed.
18. Market-Savvy Knowledgeable about the local market, competition, and relevant product offerings, with a focus on delivering results.
