Job Description


A well-established school in Walsall is seeking a confident and experienced School Administrator to support the smooth day-to-day running of a busy office environment. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organised, resilient, and experienced within a school setting, and who can step in and make an immediate impact.You will play a key role in ensuring the front office operates efficiently while supporting wider administrative functions across the school.Duties will include:Acting as the main point of contact for parents, visitors, and external agenciesManaging a high volume of calls, emails, and face-to-face enquiriesUpdating and maintaining pupil data using SIMS, ARBOR, and BROMCOMSupporting attendance tracking, reporting, and follow-upsAssisting with safeguarding administration, including maintaining accurate recordsCoordinating meetings, managing calendars, and providing admin support to senior staffCompleting general office duties such as data entry, filing, and document handlingCandidate Requirements:Proven experience in a school administration roleConfident user of SIMS, ARBOR, and BROMCOMStrong understanding of safeguarding protocols within educationExcellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloadProfessional and confident communication skillsAbility to work independently and within a fast-paced team environmentPlease Note:This position does not offer training - applicants must be able to perform duties from day oneAn Enhanced DBS (on the Update Service) is highly desirableApplicants without a DBS must be prepared to obtain and fund one prior to startingThis is a great opportunity for an experienced administrator looking to secure a role within a supportive and dynamic school setting.Aspire People Limited provides services as an Education Agency and an Education Employment Business.
