School Site Manager│ Eastbourne│£30,500 - £37,000 per annum│Full Time
This school is committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for its students. They are looking for a dedicated and proactive School Site Manager to ensure the facilities are maintained to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the daily maintenance and operation of school buildings, grounds, and equipment.
* Ensure the premises are consistently safe, clean, and well-maintained.
* Supervise the site team, including cleaners, caretakers, and contractors.
* Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments to identify and address maintenance and safety issues.
* Coordinate repair and maintenance work to minimise disruption to school activities.
* Manage the school’s security systems, including alarms, CCTV, and access control.
* Liaise with external contractors and suppliers to ensure high-quality service delivery.
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, health and safety checks, and compliance documentation.
* Support the school during emergency situations, including fire drills and evacuations.
* Assist with the setup of school events and activities.
Qualifications and Experience
* Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within an education setting.
* Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
* Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Basic IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
