Newman University seeks to appoint an Administrator to join its Accommodation and Campus Services Team. This key customer-facing role supports the smooth operation of accommodation services and contributes to a positive experience for students and other service users.
Responsibilities
The role provides a wide range of administrative and operational support, including responding to enquiries, processing financial and management information, maintaining accurate records, and supporting general office administration. It involves working closely with the Accommodation Manager to ensure efficient department operations and a consistently high standard of customer service. The role operates on a rota basis Monday to Friday, with some evening and weekend work.
Qualifications
* GCSE Mathematics and English at Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent).
* Experience in an administrative role with strong customer service.
* Managing financial administrative processes, accurate information handling, record maintenance, and data use for service monitoring and improvement.
* Organisational skills, prioritisation, meeting deadlines, and accuracy in a busy environment.
* Clear written and verbal communication, confidence in dealing with enquiries, attention to detail, reliability, and a professional customer service approach.
