BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
SHREWSBURY - UP TO £60K + COMMISSION
THE OPPORTUNITY:
We're exclusively working with a highly reputable, family run business in the construction industry. They have grown significantly over the last few years whilst still keeping a family run feel, close knit team and an excellent culture and working environment.
Due to their growth they have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager from a Construction, Mechanical, Engineering or similar background to join the team. You will be working with clients across the UK, identifying potential projects and decision makers, establishing new relationships and maintaining existing client relationships.
THE ROLE:
1. Managing relationships with Key Accounts in the business
2. Building a strong understanding of the structure of each client, all potential contacts and decision makers and keeping in regular contact with them
3. Identifying opportunities for additional sales
4. Identifying potential projects and the decision makers for projects
5. Outreach to potential clients utilising various methods of contact
6. Managing the sales process, alongside colleagues in the technical and bids team to deliver quotations or bids/tenders
