Job Description
This Finance Manager position will provide analysis and insight to drive decision-making in the business unit. Specifically you will manage relationships with third-party logistics providers ensuring robust cost control and accurate financial reporting. Key responsibilities - Support decision making through the delivery of accurate analysis and insight and acting as key finance business partner- Evaluate business cases to ensure viability - Support in the preparation and review of budgets and forecast- Process improvement to improve ways of working within the finance team - Line manage a small team
The Successful Applicant
The successful Finance Manager will have Logistics experience. This could mean candidates currently working in a logistics firm or working in a business and being in charge of the logistics for that company Additional credentials:
3. A professional accounting qualification (CIMA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
4. Relevant experience within Retail/FMCG/Logistics/consumer goods or manufacturing sectors
5. Good verbal communication skills, ability to articulate financial data in a clear and transparent way and challenge senior stakeholders
6. Resilience and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
